How We Help
Every act of kindness at Friendly Ear begins with something simple — listening. From street conversations to community meals, we’re here to remind people they matter.

Friendly Ear Day
A warm space for conversation, food, and connection. Our events create a sense of belonging for anyone who needs to feel heard, and fed.

Street Listening
We meet people where they are; on the street, in parks, and in doorways. Our volunteers offer presence, kindness, and calm conversation with no pressure and no agenda.

Volunteer Training
We train everyday people to become powerful listeners. No therapy, no pressure, just presence, compassion, and a real human connection.
Our Story
Friendly Ear began with something simple - a conversation.
After facing my own struggles with mental health and loneliness, I realised just how powerful it is to feel truly heard. Not fixed. Not judged. Just heard.
What started with one conversation is now becoming a growing movement - a place where people are reminded they matter, and where listening is treated as a radical act of compassion.
Friendly Ear isn’t about one person. It’s about all of us. Together, we’re creating a world that listens.

“I didn’t think you were going to talk to me. I didn’t think you thought I mattered.”
Moments like this remind us why Friendly Ear exists - to let people know they matter.
